Stephen M. Zweibach, MD

Dr. Zweibach has been providing care to patients in the Brandon area for many years. When Brandon Regional Hospital opened its maternity ward, Dr. Z delivered the hospital’s first baby, a healthy baby girl.

Dr. Zweibach believes in focusing on total care for his patients. He strives to prevent medical problems by early detection through screening, counseling, and intervention.

He provides both high and low risk maternity care, with deliveries at Brandon Regional Hospital .

He specializes in minimally invasive surgery and performs well over 90% of his gynecologic procedures laparoscopically. He is an expert in Outpatient laparoscopic hysterectomy. Most patients go home the same day after laparoscopic hysterectomies and resume full activities in 1-1/2 to 3 weeks.

His eyes are on the overall picture of women’s health, quality of life and longevity.
