Susan M. Ott, DO
After Dr. Ott graduated from Smith College in Northampton, Mass. with a bachelors degree in mathematics, she received her degree in Osteopathic medicine from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. She went on to her internship at the Michigan Capitol Medical Center at Michigan State University and then completed her Osteopathic training at Merida Southpointe Hospital at Kentucky Sports Medicine in Lexington, Kentucky, she focused on the Study of sports medicine and related injuries.
Dr. Ott has dedicated herself to the care of the injured athlete. She has cared for high school, college, professional and recreational athletes throughout her career. She is in the national health care referral networks for USA Gymnastics and USA swimming. She is currently a team physician for Florida Southern College.
Dr. Ott started practicing in Sayre, Pennsylvania. She moved to Plant city in 2003 and began developing a thriving practice. Her subspecialty interests in sports medicine and treating women athletes have her actively involved with the care and treatment of all levels of athletes.
