Richard Landrigan, MD*
A native of Houston, Texas, Dr. Richard R.
Landrigan earned his Bachelor of Science with honors
from the University of Tennessee Knoxville. He then
completed his doctorate degree at the University of
Tennessee Memphis Medical School at age 24. After a
medical internship, he served three years in the United
States Navy as a Naval Flight Surgeon.
Dr. Landrigan is also trained in minimally invasive office procedures such as the transuretheral needle ablation of the prostate for benign enlargement of the prostate. He performs outpatient inflatable penile prosthesis surgery in men with impotence, treats pediatric patients with hypospadias and undescended testicles, and has performed neuromodulation surgery for voiding dysfunction patients.
Dr. Landrigan has been in the private practice of Urology since 1984. He practiced 20 years in the Tampa Bay area, four years in New Mexico, and 2 years in Daytona Beach as the Medical Director at Halifax Health Medical Center’s Center for Urology before relocating his practice back to the Tampa Bay area. He is married with five children and enjoys pastimes like swimming, hiking and flying.
