Salim K. Afridi, MD, FRCS, FEBU, FACS

Dr. Salim K Afridi obtained his medical degree from Pakistan and United Kingdom. He obtained fellowships from royal college of surgeons of England (FRCS) and Edinburgh (FRCSE). He practiced general surgery for 2 years in Peshawar for two years and then he went to Canada and completed urology training from Queens University, Ontario and became the fellow of the royal college of surgeons of Canada (FRCSC). He is board certified from American board of urology (DABU) and later was as accepted as fellow of American college of surgeons (FACS). He was Professor in University of Skatchewan (UFS), Canada before coming to Florida. Beside his practice he has served in various hospital committees’ and community services. He has been the chief of surgery and chief of staff and currently serves in the ethics and credential committee. His special interest includes prostate diseases and erectile dysfunction and pelvic health and minimal invasive surgery. He has done active research and BPH and erectile dysfunction and vesico-ureteric reflux. Currently he has privileges in south Florida Baptist Hospital, Brandon Regional Hospital, and Brandon Ambulatory Surgery Center.
